Uruguay Prisión para ex funcionarios de Casinos

La Justicia uruguaya confirmó los cinco procesamientos con prisión dictados meses atrás a ex jerarcas, funcionarios y empresarios vinculados a la Dirección de Casinos municipales. 

 El Tribunal de Apelaciones en lo Penal de 1° Turno ratificó los fallos que atañen a Juan Carlos Bengoa, ex Direcor de casinos municipales, así como de sus ex asesores.
Los ex funcionarios Orestes González y José Luis Antúnez, el funcionario municipal Gustavo Dalmonte y el empresario Felipe Ruiz, también fueron procesados con prisión como asesores de Bengoa. En el dictamen, el Tribunal establece que la prueba recaudada en el expediente conforma elementos de convicción suficiente sobre las responsabilidades de los procesados.
De todos modos, el fallo señala ciertas carencias con respecto a las indagatorias realizadas, e inclusive sugiere vinculaciones con el ex Intendente Mariano Arana y la ex Secretaria de la comuna María Julia Muñoz.
