Casinos ilegales se trasladan a ferias


El número de salas de juego ilegales que abundaban en el D.F., ahora se ha reducido. Como contraparte, las salas de juego van de la mano de las ferias populares que se trasladan por el país. Uno de los casos en cuestión es el de Oaxaca, y su fiesta anual del Municipio de San Pedro y San Pablo Teposcolula.

Instalados ahora en la zona del Mixteca, opera uno de estos establecimientos de apuestas ilegales prohibidos por la Ley Federal de Juegos y Sorteos. Durante los cuatro días de duración de la feria, el salón de Tragamonedas funcionó de manera ininterrumpida, sin ser controlado por el ayuntamiento.


Esta situación se viene repitiendo a lo largo y ancho del país, tornándose una situación difícil de controlar por las autoridades correspondientes. En este caso la delegación de la Procuraduría Federal del Consumidor (Profeco) argumentó no tener competencia sobre la operación de estos Casinos ambulantes, ya que correspondería a los diferentes municipios.
